Virtual Training
For athletes and adults who already train consistently and want an expert plan, not a babysitter. Each month we build your program and meet once on Zoom. You do the work on your own.
Who it is for
People who already show up. You train three or more days a week, you don't need someone to get you out of bed, and you want to know the work is the right work. Travel players, college athletes home for break, and adults with a home or commercial gym fit well here. Youth players are welcome, with a parent or guardian on every call.
There's a reason we say this up front. Motivation research consistently finds that people driven by their own reasons (enjoyment, values, wanting to get better) stick with exercise longer than people driven by outside pressure (Teixeira et al., 2012). Those are the people who do well with a plan and a monthly check-in.
Who it isn't for
If consistency is the hard part, train with us in person. Intending to train is not the same as training: in a meta-analysis of 10 studies, 36% of people who intended to be active didn't follow through (Rhodes & de Bruijn, 2013). Building the habit takes reps. New gym members needed at least four sessions a week for about six weeks before exercise became a habit (Kaushal & Rhodes, 2015).
Supervision helps here too. Young rugby players coached in person completed more sessions and got stronger than teammates on the same program alone (Coutts et al., 2004). Trained men who were supervised lifted heavier loads and gained more strength than men who trained unsupervised (Mazzetti et al., 2000). If that sounds like you, start with Personal Training.
Also not a fit: active injuries, post-surgery rehab without clearance, or anyone looking for daily texting or live workouts.
How it works
1. Pick a plan and check out.
2. You'll get an email with two forms: a Health History Questionnaire and an Informed Consent. Complete both. Under 18, a parent or guardian fills them out and signs.
3. We meet on Zoom, and your first 4-week block arrives within 5 business days.
4. Each month: a new block, your call, and a written call summary. Questions are saved for the call.

FAQ
Is this live coaching?
No. It's virtual training: we build the plan and review it with you once a month. Follow-up messaging between calls is included. There are no live group sessions.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time before your next renewal. See the plan policy at checkout.
Do you work with youth players?
Yes. If the player is under 18, a parent or guardian completes both forms, signs the consent and is on every call. No parent, no call. We'll reschedule.
I'm coming back from an ACL or another injury.
You need clearance from your surgeon or physical therapist first. We pick up after rehab, in the performance phase.
What equipment do I need?
Tell us on the intake form. The program is built around what you have.
Can I switch to in-person?
Yes. Many people do. See Strength Training and Soccer.
Virtual Training is general fitness and performance guidance. It isn't medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Get medical clearance before starting if you have an injury, a medical condition, or are returning from surgery (including ACL). Participants under 18 need a parent or guardian's signed consent, and a parent or guardian must attend every call.
